Future Science Leaders (FSL) is an after-school STEAM* enrichment program for teens. As an extension of Science World's brand refresh, following a review of the organization's brand architecture, FSL was selected as an early candidate for a sub-brand refresh. Beginning with FSL, a system of sub-brand wordmarks was developed to keep all of Science World's sub-brand identities on-brand, consistent, and recognizable to Science World.

Science World sub-brands
As many of Science World's programs have varying target audiences, it was important to the in-house Graphics team to allow for flexibility within the system of sub-brands. While all wordmarks are set in the same typeface, and placed alongside the Science World logo, there is room for experimentation in how the wordmarks are designed. This allows for a sense of personality and distinction for each sub-brand, while remaining cohesive and on-brand.

Following the launch of this sub-brand refresh, the marketing deliverables for FSL 2019/20—which included the brochures shown here—were attributed to an increase in applications to FSL for the next school year.
